As a designer at True North Inc, my general responsibilities revolve around bringing visual concepts to life and ensuring their successful execution across various mediums. This includes collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their objectives, target audience, and brand identity. I am tasked with conceptualizing and creating visually appealing designs, including layouts, graphics, and illustrations, that effectively communicate the desired message while maintaining brand consistency. I work alongside copywriters, art directors, and other members of the creative team to develop concepts and refine designs based on client feedback. Additionally, I oversee the technical aspects of production, ensuring that design files are properly formatted for print or digital distribution. This involves conducting pre-press checks, coordinating with print vendors or digital platforms for production, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Quality control is a key aspect of my role, involving meticulous proofing and reviewing of materials to maintain accuracy and consistency. Throughout the process, I may also contribute to project management tasks, such as timeline management, file organization, and communication with stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
